It's been 30 days since I took my handgun saftey class, paid my $115, and was fingerprinted. Came home looked in the mail and my Tennessee Handgun Permit was in there.

That's fast! I live in TN and I've had my carry permit since '04 and it took almost 2 months for me to get mine! Got it renewed in '08 and will have to renew again in September. FYI fellow Glockers. Go to YouTube and check out Hickok45! He's a die hard Glock nut! Very educational! Shoots a lot of guns and gives infomative reviews! I think he's from the Nashville area. Very cool videos!

Hickok45 is a member! Not that he's heard from a lot...probably blowing holes in his back 40.

Yeah It wasn't to bad, laws here say that the issuing county has no longer than 30 days to send a letter of denial or letter of acceptance. I live in a fairly large county, but a lot of the smaller counties have been reported to take a few days.

I been subbed to Hickok45 for awhile now love his channel. Another one of my favorite channels is tnoutdoors9 he does great ammo reviews and tests. he's from TN too.

Ive become quite the fan of Hickok45 from here in Western Kentucky. I guess he's sorta a folk hero to me now. lol

It's hickok45. I subbed to his channel about a month ago. He's got over 600 videos posted showing him doing T&E's on various brands of guns, not just Glocks. But Glock is is favorite! Great videos and a really cool guy! Be sure to check him out!

I remember that day also, but I had to wait much longer. The State barely got mine to me before the time limit ran out. I can't remember how long it is they have to respond, but I got my permit with just 3 or 4 days to spare. then my wife applied for hers, and got it in 3 weeks. Grrr
