UTG Universal, perfect fit, incredible quality, incredible comfort

$15 on Amazon. I have several drop legs costing a LOT of money, they sit in a drawer while i use my UTG. I have destroyed three blackhawks and a Safariland....not this one.

My review is on there somewhere. For anything like a G19 or bigger take a sewing needle and sew the upright strap to the top of the holster. This keeps it locked in against the leg and adds comfort for running and climbing.

I've owned a few drop leg rigs ... I've had a "Spec-ops" and a few Blackhawks. I liked them unless I had to run or climb on things. Then the thing is an extension of your leg. You know how much crap that thing catches on? Everything. Then if you wanna go take a pee or drop a deuce it makes it a pain in the butt as well.

I love my Blackhawk thigh rig. I just bought the thigh rig holster mount system for $60 then added my Blackhawk SERPA holster to it with three screws. I attached my SOG with hard sheath to it to the rear of my weapon and there's a spot for my badge at the front of the weapon. I can choose the cant of my holster as well. The sticky material on the inside of the thigh straps prevent it from turning around my leg and it stays tight through an entire shift.

Oh and some have a mag pouch on em ... Which is really nice for carrying a leatherman or a gerber. Actually putting a mag on your gun side leg just seems kinda dumb to me.
I know some officers who do carry mag pouches on their strong side and I just SMH and facepalm every time I see them.

Ha. I hear ya there. The thigh rig is a good platform in certain situations, though I think half the people I see with one just have it because it looks neat-o and tacticool.

I have one for when I'm at the range or I'm going to be using my rifle as well. I rarely ever wear it on duty even though most of the time it would be much more comfortable, especially when getting in and out of a vehicle.
