But I guess the thing I have not understood is what is it the people think the dems are going to do that causes them to get support ? I am always amazed that the dems can get anywhere near 50% of the votes anywhere in the US. I mean look at Chicago, Baltimore, Detroit, LA, San Francisco (in fact pretty much all of California).

How can people anywhere think that letting illegals in, paying their healthcare, and protecting them from being arrested for the crimes they commit is a good thing for your city or state ? Must all have the IQ of a box of rocks or something. I've never been able to figure it out.

Between the 'enhanced' state chl and LEOSA certification, I'm legal to carry nearly anywhere I'm likely to go, but I still don't want to advertise it. My handgun is always fairly well concealed unless I'm completely out in the woods with a larger handgun, in which case I do carry openly; as does most everyone in the woods around here. I went from a 19 to a 43 with +2 base primarily for increased concealment, while still giving me more rounds on hand than my 1911 did way back when.

Some do, because they think it's kind and really doesn't have a criminal or financial impact.

Some others don't really think that, but they've been inundated with the idea that Republicans & conservatives are inherently evil and want to pollute your water, destroy the environment, bomb the entire planet, and turn your children into slaves. I believe that for those who have been conditioned to believe that, they often don't really vote for Democrats, they vote against Republicans.

All because of libtards who think white males and Republicans are responsible for all the evils in the world. They all believe that if they give the poor more welfare and let the illegals roam free that one day the unicorns will come over the rainbow and heal all.It really seems to me they have been brainwashed somehow, maybe social media,I dont know,I dont use any kind of social media. Its surely gotten worse since the advent of TDS

What those guys said. It's beyond comprehension. Dem voters keep chasing the carrot their leaders promise them, not realizing it's just a maze with a tar pit at the finish line.

Yea but 50% of the people ? That's incredible !! That just blows my mind.

I guess that supports the mathematical estimation that about 50% of the people are dumber than average !

    I mean I could see if they get like 20% ? or even 30% ? but 50% ? that's just ridiculous !

One side reacts with rationale. The other, with emotion.Ironically, the rationale minded get called stupid by the emotionally controlled.

But why is it so heavily concentrated in the North East ?

I lived in NYC for close to 60 yrs.50% is a low estimate there. When I move upstate 4 yrs ago I thought it would be more right leaning, but not in this area, too close to Mass. Its much better than NYC but there are an awful lot of "Feel the Bern" bumper stickers.

Its concentrated in the NE,West Coast mid Atlantic (DC-Baltimore,Atlanta),Chicago/Detroit and Fla.Spreads like a cancer I bet Texas will fall soon. Its like the commies are setting up shop in a pattern that will surround the center of this country

How can people in New York City possibly think a flaming socialist (wanna be communist) can possibly be good for their economy and life styles ? It's unbelievable !

I guess my fault that this topic has been hijacked so I'm going to stop posting about this on this thread.

Sorry I hijacked it. Thanks for the responses.

No worries, but glad you stopped, as I have no answer. Might be due to the concentration of universities and yrban areas...
Lived here most of my life, but the wife and I are looking forward to retirement elsewhere. As Stokes mentioned, free areas are decreasing. In the past year we knocked Maine and NC off our list.

  19. I don't worry about it. I buy shirts in "tall" and usually oversized. This state has constitutional carry for now anyway. If it shows, it shows.

Well, I guess my attitude is kind of developed and influenced with the police officers I work around as a volunteer the last few years. They will tell you that if you are printing, it's the same as a sign on your chest that says "shoot me first" !
