Springs don't usually wear out unless they are compressed (or stretched) beyond their intended limits. My dad got a G22 in 1995 and the magazines that came with it still work fine despite thousands of rounds going through them.

How long does it take for the springs in the Glock magazine to start losing there spring?

Great, I usually blow through each magazine I have at the range. I thought if I left rounds in the magazine for a long period of time if that would harm the spring?
I use each of my magazines when I go to the range. This question was for a friend.
Leaving a Magazine loaded is not going to hurt the spring.
