First post!!! Ok here in Indiana we only have pistol cartridges in long guns, or shotgun. I use an H&R Ultra Light Slugger 12 gauge with Remington 3" 1oz Copper solid Sabots.
Simple yet elegant
My 1944 M44 Mosin Nagant great for Hogs and Great for Deer
A-bolt in a 270 Win
308 is all I need
Savage 30-06 for me. Never had one run more than 30 yards. If they ran at all.
Browning A Bolt in 7mm08. I have had this rifle for years. with all the different rifles and calibers I have, I always find myself pulling out the A Bolt.
I have yet to kill a deer past 100 yards so an open sighted 12 gauge with Foster pills is all I require because I like to get inside 100 yards before I kill. It part of the experience for me.
It always cracks me up when I see fellas in the woods with the latest way too large overly fast über magnum with a 6-42x scope. Where a 60 yard shot is a record long shot for them parts. But in their defense I know a guy that weaves his bullets through the tangles with that kind of scope and is is good at it. I still laugh at him though lol.
Marlin 336 in a 35 Remington.
Marlin XL7 camoflage in .270 Winchester
Favorite deer rifle
Remington 7600 pump in .280 Rem.
