Why in the last 25 years, have you been unable to make a .45ACP in the same frame size as the G19 and G23? It would be a single stack 7 round magazine and would sell like crazy. You came close with the G38 but missed the mark & the G36 isn't a full grip. The G21 is waaay too big and nobody likes the G 2by4......oops sorry, I meant the G30. Why? WHY? I'm starting to wonder who works in your "idea" department.

..............and that is all.

I think the g21 is perfect, in saying that I also love my g23 two different guns and calibers but both equally great guns.

This has been discussed several times. If you look at the dimensions of both guns, there's not enough difference to justify making another gun.

G19: 7.36 x 5.04 x 1.18
G30: 6.97 x 4.45 x 1.28

They can't change the 1.28 width, as that's what's required to contain the .45. Barrel length is 4.02 for the 19 vs 3.78 for the G30.

The odds of significant sales of a gun with such small differences are slim. The .45GAP was created around grip size, not gun size; that was just a happy result.

They also need to stop wrapping their magazines in polymer. They could make their grip sizes the same as Springfield if they didn't do that. Still love them....just some changes I would make. Only my worthless .02

I have to agree with this! Not only does everybody I know that owns one swear by them but when I was having my Daughter shoot different guns to see what gun she wanted she narrowed it down to the G19 and G30! She says she likes the 30 better!

GLOCK nailed it perfectly with the G37, 38, & 39. I think those .45's are amazing!!! Regular grip size with a low recoil .45. What's there not to like?

Because Nuttin beats a REAL 45!;) Like a 21 and 30!
Ha!!! You said "nuttin" and "beats" in the same sentence.

230 grain is 230 grain. It doesn't matter how BIG the grip is. If she can't handle it, it's useless. Check out that double entente.

On Paper the 45 gap is real close to the 45 ACP but as we know on paper the SR71 isn't supposed to fly either. If the 45 GAP ever gets enough street shootings to be rated in one shot stops then we will see how it stacks up. Til then I will use the old tried and true REAL 45:D

In fact, it generally exceeds the ACPs ballistics, using the same bullets in shorter cases.

There's no such thing as a "one shot stop" and there never has been, in the way it is generally meant. If I put it through your eye, I can get a one shot stop with a .22.

5 State Police Departments have adopted it. Florida Highway Patrol spoke to the other 4 before adopting it and found that they were very satisfied with the results of their officer involved shootings with the .45GAP.
