I know you don't have to have a ccw anymore but what are the exact laws are they the same as open carry then

To conceal and carry without permit you must be 21 and over, but to get a ccw you must be 21 and over. So 18 and up can open carry, only 21 and up can conceal and carry.

Also, in AZ the CCW permit allows you to carry in certain locations otherwise prohibited, like a bar providing you do not consume any alcohol, and it offers reciprocity with other states. Also, it allows you to bypass any background check, at supporting gun stores, when you buy a gun. Not to mention, from my friends who have one, as I am 18 I do not, police seem more friendly, to a degree.

You should be able to bypass the background at any gun store with ur permit. Also you can carry into an airport, dnt see the need to tho.

Sometimes the "local" gun store is either unaware or very cautious. Their preference really, and on the airport note, technically anyone can carry up until the security point, whether or not I wish to test that... Best to leave it at home. Also, provided the bill passes into law, would potentially allow you to carry on college campuses.

Either way you cant pass the sercurity chckpoint unless ur borading a plane or wrk there.
