I would like to propose a new sub-forum dealing with Glocks (specifically) and competitions.

We've had at least 3 threads started with folks asking about Glocks and competing in GSSF and IDPA.

I had originally thought perhaps to call it Glocks in Competition, however, there's a book by the same title and I didn't want to plagerize.

Perhaps if we generate enough interest, TxShooter will create one for us. :p

I like the idea. How about calling it "Hitting the Mark" or "Competition Glock Style"

Great Idea, I use my G-34 in GSSF Tournaments.
What other Glock do you use or do you shoot Competitive and Unlimited only?!

I am look to get a 17 to compete in
Am-Civ, Comp and Unl along with my 30 for Subs, Major Subs (new class this year) and Heavy Metal.

I know the 30 will suck for those 25 yard heavy metal plates, but 2 guns, 6 classes, lots of fun!

I have competed 3 times in off season practice events with my G4 19. Being a new shooter it is taking some getting use to. But it's a lot of fun. I'm not the worst shooter and did actually finish first in production class once. Love it! It would be cool to upload videos from the events too.

I use the 34 exclusively, and so far I only do the indoor tournements.

IDPA in West Michigan

For those interested, live in, around or near West Michigan, IDPA season is about to begin.

South Kent Sportsmans Club shoots IDPA 2nd Sunday of the month, March through October.

I intend to use my 30SF in CDP exclusively.. which means I'll be going head to head with the 1911 guys. :)
