I got this .38 form my mom to reblue. I'm not to happy about how it turned out. It had a lot of rust and pits in it. I fixed all that, my question is when I got it all together the hammer doesn't work right and the cylinder is tight and locks up. What did I do wrong? I'm not a "wheel man" I need any help or advice that I can get. The only things I took off is the hammer, cylinder, and the cylinder latch.

I believe it's called "timing"...and that's what you messed up.

Leave it to me, thanks I may try him later. It aligns up right just locks up.

Update:

I took it all apart and put it back together. Now works great. It's a great little gun…guess I got everything just right.
