One thing Im hoping for is a compact 45acp that is the same size as the g23. I have a g30 but I wish the grip was a lil longer. Do you think glock will one day make one? Im not interested in the gap cartridge quite yet.

If they haven't made one by now, it's unlikely they will. The size difference between the 30 and 23 is so small that it wouldn't make much sense for them.

The OAL is only .39 difference, the width is .1 difference, barrel length is .24 difference, height is the biggest at .55 inches, with the 23 being that much longer. Line of sight is only .08" difference. There just wouldn't be any logic in it for Glock to make a gun that's less that 1/2" bigger in all but 1 spot.

It doesn't say how much it adds, but have you looked at the Pearce Grip Extensions? http://www.pearcegrip.com/Products/GLOCK/PG-30
