Sorry I couldn't copy and paste so just open the pics and read! I am confused as to what they will do to the rifles already Equipped with bullet buttons?!

betcha the retrofit'll cost like 10 times what an unmodified receiver would cost elsewhere....
The retro fit would me the magazine would permanently be fixed and you would have to open the receiver and load the rounds in through the lower receiver.

Owing to my decided inexperience with the AR platform, I have to ask: If you cannot detach the magazine at all (eg, it's welded on), can you still load a round through the chamber like a bolt-action?

If so, this would effectively make the AR in its current design a single-shot firearm, right?

If not and the AR cannot function in this way, then I am failing to see how any AR would be legal in CA. Which, unfortunately, is what Yee et. al. want. There would be no retrofit that would meet the legal allowances of this new law...?
