Some county's are harder than others and some are just simply impossible...
How is you have to give a reason they (being your local sheriff) should give you a permit. I think they call it a good cause statement.

Anyone know the CCW laws for Monterey County?
Have you tried calling your county Sheriff office and asked what their carry permit procedure is?
They keep putting me on hold, getting kind of frustrated.
Mikio I'm in seaside... From what I have been told by Leo up here is the new sheriff is pretty cool with ccw you just need to have a class and some other requirements... Have you found a place that does the ccw class locally???
Not yet, I have done POST training already so I am familiar with my firearm but looking for a CCW class.
Vegas Misfits, I just cousin a CCW class at Markleys and signed up. Its set for Oct. 14th.

We have our mv ccw but not ca... Yet 
I don't have any yet, been trying to figure out how to get it. I guess this is one of the first steps to take. I hope the rest of the process goes by smoothly lol.
