How much is a 20rd box going for now if you can find it?

It’s been out of production for close to 30 years now.

Howdy.
There are better rounds that are in production. The closest would probably be Ranger T.
For a straight answer? I dunno, what ever you are willing to pay or part with it for. Not sure I would want to rely on it though.

I like the Ranger LE. YouTubers don't and try to run it down, but I know what I know about it. T is ok and mainstream, but I've never been mainstream. I do like the little extra the T provides with the hooks though. Wish the plain Ranger did that.

The PD I retired from issued Black Talon and when it was discontinued (1995?) we were issued the Ranger T.

Sorry for double pic. The Ranger T series is the same exact round with clear “Lubilox” (sp). While the black coating does look cool. I wouldn’t spend the money to buy Black Talons on the secondary market. I have two 50 round boxes of 10mm, & .380 in the Black Talon line that I’ve kept just because they are no longer made. There is a Brand called Barns Tac-XP that looks & seems to expand like the Winchester Black Talons, fwiw.

I kept a few hundred rounds of Black Talon in .45 & 10mm. Not sure why I kept them as there are better options today. I guess if they are worth stupid money I would sell them.

I guess this qualifies as stupid money. lol

We both probably kept them to the outrageous media claims at the time. Plus they look kinda cool, & have a cool name.

I wish I'd kept a few boxes. They be neat just to have.

I have a box somewhere.
I have my duty belt cartridge slide full of .357 magnum Black Talons. Carried a S&W 627 as a duty gun for a short time working security back in 1993.
