Any tips on the best practice ammo to use for my G23
Winchester FMJ white box. I practice with the same Grain my carry ammo is. 165gr 40sw
Watever walmart has is good enough
I buy mostly all my ammo in bulk, and stick with Federal,
Winchester, Remington, UMC, American Eagle, Magtech, etc...
I've used Remington 180 grain from Walmart as my son in law. I only have 300 rnds through mine, he has 1,300 neither of us had a problem. buy the 100 rnd box if you get them it's cheaper.
I use the Federal Champion because it is the cheapest ammo at my Wal-Mart.
Just got home and had a great package from UPS. More ammo!!!
Arg, I use federal Champion not Remington. The weather has been bad so my mind was off in the memory area.
I like lawman fmj ammo, very good and performs great. Ammotogo.com is a great site for the anti social
Saturday at range:
Shot two 50 round boxes of Federal and two 50 round boxes of TUL from photo above. First time shooting with TUL and the TUL Ammo jammed twice.
1. Box Federal shot good.
2. Box TUL it did not eject casing.
3. Box TUL it did not load a bullet all the way into barrel.
4. Box back to Federal, shot good again.
