First, let me say that I just joined this forum over 2 weeks ago and am a new handgun owner (first time ever). I purchased a Glock 26 earlier this month and just purchased a SW M&P 22 today for my wife and kids for the range.

Needless to say, I find this forum VERY helpful and I am making purchases based on the advice given here. I am so glad to have this Forum! So I have another favor to ask…

Now that I have a G26 and a SW M&P 22 I need a range bag that can hold all my gear.. I like the army green/khaki colors like the one below… what say my Forum advisers?

I am also looking for a nice range bag. I am also a photographer, so have grown fond of shoulder bags.

I am even using a Tamrac bag until I find a range bag. Many pockets, padded inside with moveable dividers, looks like I am carrying cameras instead of guns.

For the style of some of the range bags I see some made by Leapers that "look" pretty nice, but gut tells me they might be thin material and cheaply made. But the price sure is right...lol

Something like this:

or this:

So, I kept looking online, went to sites who sell Tactical gear to LE, etc, figuring they might make stuff more durable than the above stuff.

I found bags I like made by Galls:

And something called a "5.11" (might be a generic name) Tactical bag:

Found a line of stuff called "Redhead" available at Bass Pro Shops.

I know you are looking for "camo" and what I mention is black nylon as that is what I am looking for.

But many of the makers also make camo colored stuff for you.

You might also look in your local Craigslist for used stuff, or place a wanted ad. I have a hard side molded "RAE" case with 2 locks that I am thinking about selling or offering for a trade.

Lots of places/ways to find something - be creative, and the good guys here can also offer ways to point you in the right direction.

Good Luck!

I have the smaller bailout bag when I'm just bringing my 17. Works great, holds my mags, ammo, protection and still has room. I also have another I use when I'm pier fishing alone. They serve me well. Will probably pick up the larger one in the future.

Are they well made, do they hold up well.

Have seen some bags that "look" good, but when you see them in person you realize that they are either cheaply made, or made of too thin material.

These look pretty good to me, ESPECIALLY for the price of $26.00, and they also send you a ball cap for free.

Looks to me like there is no logo...

Logos can be bought separately and attached to Velcro areas on the bag where a patch might go.
