I have the plain old Bersa Thunder and love it, no recoil, extremely light weight, life time warranty in which they honor to 100%, and very very affordable. Can't go wrong with a Bersa. Mine hasn't seen alot of action lately but it has been carried and shot alot.

Bersa 380 popped onto my radar when I started looking for a possible BUG/summer carry. It's right up at or near the top of the list for that caliber.

That was my first pistol :) Bought it in 2002 (IIRC) but ended up selling it to a friend a year or two later.

It did the job. Easy enough to shoot. It's been a while so I don't remember too many specifics. I do know that after a while the plastic grips on mine started coming loose, I'd have to tighten the screws occasionally. Yes, I just admitted to having a screw loose lol. Locktite probably would have taken care of that though. Don't recall if it ever malfunctioned, sorry. I used to drink a lot and my memory is pretty well screwed.

So yeah, not bad all in all.

I had the Thunder High capacity 9 and I sold it to buy my G30sf. In my opinion a really good and solid piece. Mine was to big and heavy to carry around. That was the only reason I sold it. In your case you want the 380 subcompact, so you should be good. I think the Bersa model it's a replica of one of the model of the Walther.

From what I experienced at the range this pistol is a great little gun. I was looking at them for a long time, but i finally decide to get it when the cops took my revolver I used in a self defense shooting. They said i had a wait of up to six months for the state attorney to release so i bought another small pistol that was inexpensive but reliable. Anyone ever have this experience with the cops/law??

I dont have the 380 cc but i have a regular Thunder 380. I love it. I have a pocket holster that fits in my cargo pocket and thats how i normally carry it. It shoots fine and i dont recall it ever jamming. Only thing i do not like is how to break it down. It always take me multiple tries to put it all back together.

I had a bersa thunder 380, great shooter, no feeding issues or jamming problems. I sold it because its safty was screwy... Id take safty off and pull the trigger and it would take 2 or 3 pulls of the trigger to fire. Prob just an isolated issue but i lost confidence in the gun and had to get rid of it. Just my experiance tho, otherwise it was great;)

MYGLCOK19: that is a nice piece. I got mine in all black. Did it come with the pinky extender?? because mine is flat.

I gave it for a lil bit now and i carry it every day and never notice its on me. I filled my mags with hornady critical defense for maximum knock down. What personal defense ammo do you guys use??

Whats your take on this particular product? If any of you out there have tried it give me you pros and cons. Thanks. Pics to follow.;)
Great CC piece. Extremely reliable and accurate. Has decocker and safety. I never used the safety, because it disconnects trigger. First trigger pull is comparable to Glocks.

Mine was flat too when I received it. I bought the extension online. But honestly, the grip feel good even without that extension.
