Tough question, as very strong bonds are made at each assignment. If i had to choose one it would be serving as a Manuever and Live Fire OC at the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC). Thats where I was when the towers were hit. I will never forget that day. It was very rewarding to coach/teach/mentor our boys across the Army before they stepped into harms way with deployment to OIF/OEF.

Convoy escort. Tactical ops, didn't have to walk, out on the road, away from lifers, (apologies to any who might read this), and most of the time, we were back at base camp every night sleeping in a bunk.

I was Ft. Wainwright 2003-07. I made a couple trips to Ft. Rich. it is definitely "warmer" there.
