I have 2 shotguns and some ranges do not allow them. Anyone shoot clay targets ? I think I am going to give it a shot . Any tips ? Ive never done it before.

Me neither but I hear the eye hand coordination is sort of like a baseball thing!! I am looking forward to trying it too! Good Luck!

Maybe we will at the next meet! I can go out to the Ocala Forest range here, they have a whole seperate section dedicated to shotgun, FREE!!

I do shoot clay. I like trap more than skeet. I'm not an expert but I shoot in the 20-23 range out of 25 each round. It's a lot of fun!
    I use a 12ga Remington pump 28 inches barrel.
I guess I need more practice.
Try it, you will love it!!

+1. Sporting clay is probably my favorite type of shooting. That might change if I started doing 3 gun or pistol competitions

  10. Shooting clays is a good time, something I am really getting into. You cant beat that much fun for only around 35 bucks (100 shells & 100 Clays.) I recently picked up a Benelli Nova 12ga pump, shooting clays with it is a blast. My first time trying it I was afraid of how badly I would suck, turns out it sort of comes as second nature, like something I already knew how to do. You will love it.
