PSA sold me my G5 26 with 3 stripped PSA lowers. $599.99 those were the days!

Around that same time they ran a sale on stripped lowers for $12.99.

If I get desperate enough I found a source for some ammo at Athena Gun Club as I found out an acquaintance works there and would save me some, but their prices are high as it is a really upscale shooting range. I’m still trying to use my Academy gift card that I got in September for some ammo, but haven’t been able to get there at the right time.

I have done some thread cleaning on this thread for the last time.

Thread will be closed if anything referring to civil disobedience is mentioned here or anywhere on the GF.

Speaking of ammo or should I say components, yesterday late I found the latest sale add from American Reloading in my spam, don't know what it was doing there.

    they had.
    Sig 9mm 124gr V- Crown JHP - 500ct. for 64.99

however by the time I saw the add they were out of stock,so I tried these and they were in stock.

    9mm 124gr FMJ - 500ct.
    for 54.99

Hard pass from me. I am a gun owner rather than a gun enthusiast until the pricing comes under control. I don’t care how long it takes and I actually enjoy shooting clays more anyway. If everyone would just stop buying it the prices would recover.

Got some more 10mm and 2 boxes of 5.56. They only let you buy 2 boxes of 5.56 a day. So im going back tomorrow morning to see if I can get 2 more boxes. 20201123_151116.jpg

If it doesn't lock in with one try and you are actually in a gun fight? It might be the wrong thing to happen. In a tactical reload (not shooting 'til the bolt holds open)you might not have time to slap it 4-5 times. Each AR may vary. Some law enforcement organizations require down loading of AR mags. It might be for that reason. I don't know for sure.

With the Magpul Gen2 I can't snap the dust cover on them with 30rds.

I feel like I have been promote to a gun enthusiast.steelhauler34,I really enjoy shooting clays.you ever play the Annie Oakley we call it.line up the guys and launch.if the first shooter misses the second shooter can fire, second misses the third.if someone fires and hits and next in line shoots,he is out.lot of fun.whatever your comfort level on owning firearms and ammo is your choice.

I think I was around 19 or 20 when I found out that there was such a thing as being able to buy gun(s). I loved shooting .22 rifles at the scout camp. I read lots of books on guns and militaria prior. I collected military equipment growing up.

Yesterday, I bought 2 50 rd. boxes of Winchester Ranger T-Series (RA40T) for $29.95 each + $8.99 shipping. There is a 2 box limit. My son bought 2 boxes as well, and I had my cousin and his wife buy 2 boxes each for me.
Ammo shortage? You just have to know where to look.

Not quite but pretty close. Glocks had just started to trickle in and everyone looked at them with disdain. I bought my first TV with what I considered a monster 27” screen. Tube of course.
My first pistol? A .45ACP Micro Uzi!
    Still got it too.
