Welcome to the Forum MM. Presuming your in LE, or Private Security for "your work", your employers might have some guidelines established for carry ammo.

Whatever you end up settling on, shoot up enough of it to make sure the firearm is cycling it okay.

I drive an armored truck for work. Right now I carry a Beretta 92g, starts to get heavy on those 12 hour days. The only restriction we have on ammo is we have to carry what we qualify with (ballistic equivalent)

Well, Homeland Security seems to favor the Federal HST. You might give them a try & see what you think. Place to start anyway.
