Was wondering if anyone knows if Glock has a program for upgrading to a railed frame from a second gen frame?

I have never heard of them doing that. They do swap frame for frame for breakage issues. You have to remember that the frame is the controlled part of the weapon platform and it carries the only serial number that matters.

There may be some issues swapping one for the other generation but I don't know what if any. When my G-23 (Gen 2 I think) frame broke I got it swapped through Glock for a new Gen 3. Years later the barrel lug gave way and I received a new barrel.

But just to do a swap, I doubt it.

Hey, why not call and explain that you're willing to pay for an upgrade and see how they feel about that?

Give them a call then, last time I was in the site (three months ago) I seen it I thought they might change gen 3 to gen 4. The person I talked to stated "no we only do upgrades to gen 2."
