Nice. I've installed on mine a larger trigger guard meant for winter conditions or use with gloves. Don't recall the maker. The AR15 is the LEGO set of firearms.

 

The factory trigger guard is something to change for sure. The flat stock one may be too small for space when wearing heavy gloves and the metal surface may be hard on your skin. I chose the Magpul polymer trigger guard accessory.

Have you noticed improved comfort and enough clearance for heavy gloves with the Magpul polymer guard? Did you need to do any fitting or mods to get it to sit properly on your rifle?

 

Definitely improved comfort with my fingers not rubbing against the straight sharp metal factory trigger guard. And also good clearance with gloves. No mods required to change out the factory guard.

 

Why wouldn't you press the detent on the factory trigger guard and swing in down when using gloves? That is the intent of the design.
