When your reloading what COL do you use for FMJ? I use 1.130 which per others, seems to be a common length, I've used that length for as long as I can remember, but don't' know how I came about that length.

If you've been reloading for any length of time and you have a manual it will give you the COL for all loads as well all different bullets.

COAL (or COL, I guess), varies depending on the type, shape, and weight of a bullet. Your reference guide should give the correct measurements.

    Cheers!

I know how to reload, been doing it for almost 25 years, just curious what every body else was using. There a a lot of varied lenghths to use, the books/data and not the be all to end all, they are guidelines.

I'm comfortable with 1.125 with 124 gr FMJ boolits.
