What .45 do glock make. I'm looking for a mid size .45
G30, G36, or a G38. Them are as mid size as it gets for Glocks in 45
The 38 is the only midsize .45, but bare in mind its a .45 GAP not an ACP so its different ammo.
Glocks available in .45ACP chambering:
G30 - subcompact (includes the G30SF or "slim frame") 3.8" barrel, 26.5 oz empty
G36 - subcompact, single-stack magazine 3.8" barrel, 22.5 oz empty
G21 - full size (includes G21SF) 4.6" barrel, 28.3 oz empty
G37 - full size, .45GAP, 4.49" barrel, 22.19 oz empty
G38 - midsize, .45GAP, 4.02"barrel, 24.16 oz empty
G39 - subcompact, .45GAP, 3.46" barrel, 19.33 oz empty
Did I miss any?
Nope thats all of them. Lemme just say, +1 for the G30. Finally got to fire mine tonight, LOVE IT!
+1 for the g30
What is the magazine capacity of the G30?
G30 (and G30SF) - 10 round standard .45ACP (same as G21 and G21SF)
Glock factory hicap 13-rounder will also fit G30/SF and G21/SF.
G36 mags not compatible with any other Glock model.
The 21 is actually 13 standard, unless you're in Cali.
Thanks, Webphisher, my mistake.
No biggie, that probably came across more snotty then I meant LOL. Should be sleeping not posting haha.
not sure if you mean me or yourself! hahaha! No prob!
Am working now, so I'll probably be dipping in and out of the Forum until like 5 ro 6AM tomorrow <sad face>
Meant me lol. Too amped up from great range night, playing with the new GoPro, and helping a really cute girl work on her shot
GoPro that one!
(ooooohhh! the possibilities of that would be sooooo wrong! <evil grin>)
For those who EDC a Glock .45 ACP, how much of a physical difference under your clothes is the 36 compared to the 30/30SF? I've read the measurements; am wondering about experiential differences. Can't find a 36 in shop to compare.
Welcome to the Glock Forum garryt182003 !!
I own the G30 SF...and love it !!
I can say that my G30 only prints if i have a tighter shirt on. This is IWB.
The G36 is slimmer...and smaller. Capacity is 6+1, so you sacrifice
a few rounds to make it easier to conceal and lighter to carry around...
Welcome to the forum garryt182003.
I am brand new to this forum as well and I love all the information that all these glock experts(compared to me) have given. I own and carry a G36 and I love it. I love the size and weight of the gun.
Or unless you're in NY too, 10 round max
