My new 43X has a trigger pull of 8lbs according to my very good gun shop. I'm wanting to get it down to 4-5lbs but there are so many venders out there. I will probably have my guy at the shop do the install.
Would perfer a black trigger with a red safety lever. I'm 78 and probably can't do the install by myself.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Glock just a month and a half ago announced their own Glock performance trigger that is supposed to deliver a roughly 4 1/2 pound trigger pull, you may want to check into it as it carries a factory warrantee.

If you are going to carry the Glock 43X I would recommend not changing the trigger.

I am a retired Policeman so that is my opinion. In a stressful situation like being threatened by a criminal you will not notice if it’s a 3# or a 15# trigger. The adrenaline rush will give you super powers like Batman.

I don't understand why the trigger pull would be that heavy! o_O Glock advertises the trigger pull on there website as being 24 Newtons which converts to 5.3954146344 pound-force. I could see a little variances one way or the other, but 3 pounds seems a lot to me.

You may want to go to the dealer or gunsmith you mentioned and compare your pistols trigger pull with the other Glocks like yours that the dealer has. If there's a lot of difference between your gun and the others I'd contact Glock and see what they have to say. I noticed a small part of the rifling gone from my barrel for a Glock 27 Gen3 that I purchased just before the Gen 4's came out. That's been within the last year. I contacted Glock and they told me to send them my barrel. I did and the they sent me a new barrel!
