Wow, there are some really nice 1911's posted here. When I got the "bug" I went and bought two brand new cheap models. Full size RIA in satin stainless and an Officers model ATI. love them both and I am scary accurate with both. Have never regretted getting either one. But I do see a Sig Carry Scorpion in my near future. Love that gun!

How does that RIA run? My full size tactical was a pain in the A. Even with ball ammo and a polished ramp it would FTF every 3-4 rounds.

Wow, my RIA runs like a champ, even with my lead reloads. Very accurate also. I have read that the RIA's, made in the Philippines, are all produced using the old Colt presses and machinery that was shipped over from here. Can anyone back this story??
