Admittedly, I'm kind of a newbie. I bought a G17 Gen. 4 in June. Every time I take the slide off (which was very difficult at first, but pretty easy now), something strange happens. The rear of the recoil spring is very slightly dislodged. It's "up" in that second, curved notch, but at least...

I recently purchased a Glock 27 Gen 4 and noticed that the recoil spring slips out of the seat and is just barely caught by the top of the barrel resulting in the axis of the spring being at an angle to the axis of the barrel which just seems wrong. I do not have this problem with my Glock 22...
