What are some thoughts on trigger upgrades like the Ghost 3.5 Ultimate trigger kits. I saw that they have a few different kits and different trigger and striker springs. Do they make a big enough difference to consider using? I like the stock triggers and don’t think I would ever change it but I’ve seen a lot of videos and articles on people saying that they replace the tigger bar pretty much always.
I am looking for some sight recommendations. I had originally put on HD Trijicon sights on my original Glock slide. I replaced the slide with a new slide. I sold my old slide that had the sights on it.
I'm waiting on the Atf to get back to me, to let me know if I can use the Knoxx III grip on mine. The overall length will still be above 26", but I want to hear it from the Horses mouth.
What mods have you guys done to yours? Which heatshield works best, etc etc?
I had a beautiful clear, cool, still morning today. So I headed out to the range with the new Glock 17-L, and a good supply of ammo. I brought along the following:
100 rounds Federal Champion boxer brass 115 Gr. FMJ
100 rounds of Federal American Eagle 124 Gr. FMJ
50 rounds of Fiocchi 115 Gr. FMJ
I have been reloading since about 1988 for my G17 Gen2 and more recently I acquired a G21 Gen3. I have probably over the years reloaded over 10,000 rounds for the G17. This is the first time I have had a case split when seating a bullet. I really think the bullet may have been canted a little when it started into the case. I always roll the case in my fingers to check the round before storing. This surprised me. I always check loaded rounds in a Wilson Pistol Max gage and this round did not come close to SAAMI specs. I don't think it would have allowed battery in the G17. Sorry for the pic quality! This case had been reloaded 11 times!
