Default When you have a Glock 19, Whats next?

So the G19 is the first handgun I've owned. I've shot my fathers Kimber 1911 and Ruger Single Six, I love the Glock, and have got the bug for another but what comes next, between the size and caliber it is pretty much perfect.

So the question is, what comes next? And if you started with a 19 what was your next Glock?

I was thinking a .357 with .40 conversion?

For ME, I wanted to stick with 9mm so I only had one caliber to deal with.
So it was between the 26, 17, and 34.

I decided on the 26. It is a touch smaller so concealed carry is a little easier. But it still shoots nice at the range.

If you don't carry, then I'd suggest you get the 17 or 34 for better shooting at the range.

Sent from my iPhone (cuz that's on thing my Glock can't do)

Depends on what you want to do with it. The .357/.40 idea you have is fine if you like shooting either of those calibers, want something with a bigger bang than 9mm, etc. If you are thinking competition down the line, then the 34 would be a good idea. Want something easier to carry, then the 26. Figure out what you want to do, and you'll have the answer to your question.

I would go to a 42 and then to a 26.

I would sell the 19 and get a 21, or the 41.

You could buy a 17 and then just work your way up the ladder until you have all the models.

I was in your same situation... had a 19 and love it but won a handgun at a GSSF event and needed to decide on my second one. After quite a bit of evaluation and test firing of some of the other models I went with the G42. My first impulse was to go with the 26 and keep similar caliber ammo. But.... I decided on some occasions I could make better use of the smaller handgun for EDC... and it would fit into a camelback or pocket nicely when mountain biking. The other reason I choose the 42, is that I'm REALLY hoping for a single stack 9mm out later this year... and then that will be my third addition.

Depends on use.

Carry - get a G26, G42, G27, or G33.

Home defense/target or just fun - G32, 22, 23, 17, 34, 35, 30s, 21, 41, 20. Just pick a caliber.

I love the 40, it is 23 and 27 for me, but I have barrels for 9 and 357 for the 23. A blast to shoot. I say get 23 and shoot then all.
