Right now they are hard to find in the local gun stores. Bass pro and sportsmans warehouse in my town has not even seen them. The gun shop I buy from has 2 and I bought the last one. So that price is a good price. If there were in stock at every gun shop then it would be high. But for a gun that has not circulated since it is fairly new I would say that is a good price. If you are like me and only like to buy glocks, you have to decide if the price was worth it too you .

Very good point. I asked the question this morning to the forum thinking in my head that of course everyone on this forum are die hard Glock fanatics and only buy and appreciate Glock, but I guess not everyone only is that way. To me, the 479.00 is an excellent deal. Like you said for a firearm that hasn't even been circulated much you can't complain. I live in Pennsylvania and in my exact area and surrounding area gun shops, this gun is non -existent. Plus I'm used to paying well over the 500 mark for all my Glocks that I currently own. I never buy used always new in box at local shop, I don't know why but have a bit of o.c.d. When it comes to such things as buying used or online..not for me. But anyways I love the fit and feel of this gun I cannot wait to get this out to range tomorrow. I'm going to upload some pictures of the beauty in a bit.

They go for $450 by me. I would buy one, but the ammo is less available than 9mm around here and not any less expensive when you find it.

Well mines soaking in some ballistol and then I put a coat of frog lube on it, then wipe off. Those two systems used together creates a coat of armor for all my Glocks. You guys should try it. As soon as it's done I will get some pics on here of it.

the last picture is the G17 Gen 4 on top, G27 Gen 4 in middle, and new G42 on bottom for some size comparison to give those an idea who haven't seen the 42 in person yet. I also realized when comparing these to my other Glocks that the 42 also has a different grip pattern than the Gen 4's. The 42 doesn't have that much of an aggressive feel to it like the others do. im really loving the feel of this 42 though it feels great and cant wait to shoot the hell out of it.
