Glock has sometimes said leave the anti-seize on the rails when cleaning and lubing and let the anti-seize wear off naturally. At other times Glock has said that it is okay to remove it when cleaning and lubing for the first time. It appears that there is no right way vs. a wrong way.

I have looked at many Glocks and have seen no difference in the rails where the anti-seize was left on vs. removing it right away.

If it were mine, I would field strip the gun, clean any excess matter (including anti-seize leaving the anti-seize on the rails, lightly lube it, re-assemble and shoot it, and let the anti-seize wear off naturally.

I have a whole TUB of that! I wonder if it is a good idea to re-apply it, after it wears off? It's very good stuff for bolts that require a lot of torque, so it stands up to extreme pressure very well, and heat too, as it is also a hi-temp lube. Meaning it will not cake up and become like an adhesive.
