The Glock factory NS or Meprolights are my choice. Tough, simple, bright, and nice price.

There is no best. Trijicon, Truglo, meprolights, ameriglo and speed sights are the top brands IMO

Agree...it boils down to personal preference and the type of shooting one intends to use them for.

Edit: Didn't pay attention to the subject...specifically night sights, and not sights in general.

It's still personal preference. Some rear sights have white rings around the tritium, some just have a single tube with no ring. Some front sights have a high viz ring around the tube for daytime shooting (which means more than likely the front sight post will be a little wider), etc.

My preference is high viz front with a single tube in the rear with no ring around it.

There is one thing that no one mentioned. Warrantee. Mepralight replaced a lot of sights for me when I was in charge of maintaining a fleet of 17's and 19's. All were replaced fast, free, and with a smile. Practicing those one handed drills is much more comfortable when you know that if you whack a sight that you will have a new one in a couple of days. All I had to do was tape the damaged sight to the invoice and drop it in the mail. It doesn't get better than that.

I use TRUGLO Bright-site TFO and LOVE them..

visibility is good at night and AWESOME during the day.. almost looks like 3 led lights. The Brite-site has the exposed optics bars and picks up the slightest amount of light

. In my opinion the TFOs offer the best of both worlds (night and day), where as the strictly tritium sits just have white dots during the day.

I was in this same perdicament a few weeks ago. Heres a link, hope it helps.
