Default Bank Of America Not Allowing Card Holders To Purchase Guns Or Ammo

This you tube video is disturbing.

Shows a person calling Bank Of America and being told they could not spend their money on guns or ammo using their bank as a means to complete the transaction.

Repeat, BOA will not allow you to purchase guns or ammo.

So the banks now control our second amendment rights?

I was actually in BOA today and spoke with the president of that location, she knew nothing of it and almost found it humorous and said if that is to happen she will looking for a new job. Hopefully boa is t dumb enough to do that, they would lose tons of accounts.

The video is full of fail. BOA has done nothing of the sort. They may block a large purchase with a debit card for a couple reasons, 1 you don't have the cash in you're account, 2 you or someone else put a daily spending on the card and the purchase exceeds the limit or 3 the store has had too many contested charges and has lost the privilege with BOA (more common than people think).

The caller is also right, they're a private business and not the government and have the right to choose who they do business with.

Yup, fully wrong there.
I used my BOA Credit Card all the time for internet ammunition, Glock and AR parts, and such. It works just fine! (As long as I pay my bill at least...)

Remember...I'm a French Model. Read it on the internet.
