Doesn't bother me to use steel cased ammo in any firearm, I even use it in ARs, just keep a spare bolt for steel ammo.

I love the steel casings for my XCR, but reading this helps my questions whether or not to buy steel cased ammo, though I have been warned not to use it with the Kriss. I'll just use it for my Glocks.

My 23 hated Tula. Won't be shooting it in the foreseeable future

Federal is the only one my G19 didn't like. My G26 eats up anything I feed it. Range time is so much fun!

Personally I prefer spending my time shooting not reloading. I'm buying for $7.25 per box so to me saving $1.25 just isn't worth my time. When I'm not shooting I'd rather be hanging out with my wife than cooped up in the garage loading ammo, it's just not my thing.......

I bought two boxes of Tula for my G30 at wallyworld the other day, then realized I had nowhere to shoot them (all ranges around me don't allow steal: brass or nickel only). Maybe someday I'll meet a fellow shooter in Houston that has their own property where they shoot!

Stay away from Tula. Dirtiest ammo I have ever used.

Oh sure, you tell me now

I keep a boresnake in my kit, so it's easy to do a quick pull through before heading home from the range.

Dirty will only be a problem if I shoot tons of the ammo, 2 boxes won't gum me up.

Tula ammo has always been great for plinking. Out of 200 rounds I had one stove pipe. (I feel it was my fault I wasn't giving a firm grip) Unlike others that have said something about Tula ammo, (or steel cased ammo in general) it burns a lot cleaner than remington. It feeds fine, but I can "hear" it load in the chamber. Brass seems to glide in better. But steel cased ammo is fine.

The only time i've had a problem was shooting an IDPA match, ran out of the wolf and dug into my stash of brass case ammo to finish. Forth round fire stuck in the chamber so tight i didnt think i was goung to ever retract the slide. After that i would experience failures to go all the way into battery. Not often but enough to be frustrsting.
