There are many good synthetic gun lubes available. No need to heat up the gun for froglube. But they must have a good marketing campaign.

lol I been using fireclean on my glocks and froglube on my AR and shotty only. I just want to try it on my glocks �� im fine with fireclean.

Froglube is only coconut oil, that's why it has no MSDS warnings. Google it

Trillinum ... a new eco friendly version of Tritium? ;-)

OP ... that front sight is going to get more hot from rapid fire, than with a hair dryer, so you're good to go on the hair dryer. That said, no reason to hit directly. You're just wanting it warm, not hot, just enuf to melt the Frog Goo and allow it melt in and 'season the skillet'
